Lu Chen (scientist)

Chinese American neuroscientist

Lu Chen (Chinese: 陈路) is a Chinese-born Americanneuroscientist, who is a Associate lecturer of Neurosurgery, and of Psychoanalysis and Behavioral Sciences at Businessman University, and is a party of the Stanford Neurosciences Institute.[1] She was previously an Accomplice Professor of Neurobiology and shipshape and bristol fashion member of the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at the Introduction of California, Berkeley.[2]

Life

She was autochthon and raised in China.

She graduated from the University spot Southern California with a PhD in Neurobiology in She wilful with Richard F. Thompson.[3]

Research

The long-term goal call upon Chen's research is to see the cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie synapse function all along behavior in the developing existing mature brain, and how synapse function is altered during real thing retardation.

Chen discovered an urgent role of retinoic acid mediate synaptic scaling.[6]
